Application Privacy Policy

The Class application (Application) is operated by Class Financial Systems Pty Ltd (Class) on behalf of its clients and partners. Our commitment to protecting your privacy is paramount. Our policy applies to this application and governs data collection and usage. By using this application, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Personal Information
Class encourages you to review the privacy statements of Web sites you choose to link to from so that you can understand how those Web sites collect, use and share your information. Class is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the application or Class Web sites.

Class collects and uses your personal information to operate the Applications and Web sites, and with its suppliers uses the data to deliver the services you have requested. Class may use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Class, its clients and its affiliates.

Class does not sell, rent, lease or make available its customer lists to third parties. Class may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of business partners or clients about products or services that may be of interest to you. Class does not collect or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations.

Class may keep track of the pages you visit, in order to determine what products or services are of interest to our customers and users. This data is used to improve our service offering and to deliver relevant and customised content which may include advertising to customers whose behaviour indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

Class will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Class or ; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Class; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Class its clients, or the public.

Where registration is provided, upon logon to Class Super or its clients, you have the right to access and modify your personal data entered as part of the Class Super registration process. You have the right and obligation to seek access to the personal information held about you and to advise Class of any inaccuracy. There are some exceptions to this right set out in the Privacy Act. If you make an access request, Class will ask you to verify your identity and specify what information you require on behalf of Class or its clients. Class may charge a fee to cover the costs of meeting your request.

The application may use “cookies” to help you personalise to your requirements. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. Your personal information is only available to persons which require access in the cause of performing their duties. If you have registered with Class or its client/s, you have accepted the Terms and Conditions of Class and its clients or related parties.

Class may update this Statement of Privacy at any time to reflect company and customer feedback to improve services provided. Class encourages you to periodically review this statement.

Choice
Users may “opt-in” or “opt-out” to receive notifications, newsletters or other information via email from Class. Users may remove themselves from such services at their discretion. Any email sent will include directions on how a user may remove himself or herself from the list, or a URL where the user may find such directions.

Access
When technically feasible, users are permitted to update their personal information directly through Class . When such updating service is not technically feasible, Class will make reasonable efforts to assist users in updating their personal information.

Security
To secure site integrity, Class employs measures including but not limited to security audits, use of encryption tools and software, and other reasonable security measures and procedures. Internal access to users’ private and non-public personal information is restricted to site administrators and individuals on a need-to-know basis. Class uses security procedures and the latest technologies to protect information. Access to and use of personal information is appropriately limited to prevent misuse or unlawful disclosure of the information. If other organisations provide support services, it is a requirement that they appropriately safeguard the privacy of the information provided to them.

Enforcement
In the event that Class becomes aware that security is compromised or user non-public information has been disclosed to unrelated third parties as a result of external activity, including but not limited to external security attacks, Class shall take reasonable measures which it deems appropriate, including but not limited to internal investigation and reporting, and notification to and cooperation with law enforcement authorities, notwithstanding other provisions of this Privacy Statement.

If Class becomes aware that a user’s personal information provided to Class has been disclosed in a manner not permitted by this Privacy Statement, Class shall make reasonable efforts to notify the affected user, as soon as reasonably possible and as permitted by law, of what information has been disclosed, to the extent that Class knows this information.

Guarantees
While this Privacy Statement expresses Class’ standards for maintenance of private data, Class does not guarantee that the standards will always be met. There may be factors beyond our control that may result in disclosure of data. As a consequence, Class disclaims any warranties or representations relating to maintenance or non-disclosure of private information.

Advertising
Ads appearing on the application may be delivered to visitors by third parties. In the course of serving advertisements to the application, third parties may place or recognise a unique cookie on a user’s browser. Information about users’ visits to Class, such as the number of times users have viewed an ad, are used to serve ads to visitors. As with other cookies and consistent with Class’ policy on cookies stated above, the user may block or delete such cookies from the user’s drive or memory.

Working online
If you use the application to browse, read or download information, our system may log these movements. These logs do not identify you personally and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals who browse the site.
